Lavalu

                                                          

Lavalu (1979) was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and grew up in The Netherlands. She starte piano lessons at the early age of four and was trained in classical music. She never had much interest in pop music untill she discovered Tori Amos, Björk and Radiohead. By then Lavalu was a late adolescent and found the inspiration to compose and write her own songs and lyrics.

Starting out as a singer/songwriter, top musicians started joining Lavalu on stage in 2005. Then her music changed... Lavalu can explode into fragments like a bomb with splinters of pop, jazz and trip-hop. Or implode with the deafening silence of an intimate ballad. Lavalu is energy!
